Marshal Porto is a Member of the General Staff and thus among the select few influencing the course of the military in the Contact War.[1]
Aside from that he also played a role in the Emergency Defense Committee that ended the Unification War and laid the groundwork for Governance.[2]
He is incidentally among the oldest non-MG humans alive, seeing Project Eden come to fruition still in his lifetime and thus gaining clinical immortality.[3]
