Armstrong Military Defense Station is a military defense station on the near side of the moon, near the southern pole, presumably intended for the defense of Earth. It has a smooth metallic sheen when viewed from Earth and is nearby a blue-green patch of the pole that was once part of a large, suspended terraforming project for the poles. It is one of two known such moon stations, the other being Aitken Defense Station, and was once a scientific station.
It is likely it was named after Neil Armstrong.
