Alloc

The general currency used by humanity. Distributed by Governance as a basic income large enough to lead a decent life, especially as many public and even private services do not require payment at all. Increased allocations are given for "productive" work or military service.

Some colonies use their own currencies. Basic Alloc distribution has been decreased due to the Contact War, and some previously free services now cost Allocs.
