Project Janus was a large scale scientific project issued by the EDC employing thousands of scientists with a single goal: Developing a means to move faster than light.
By 2300 they succeeded in this endeavour.
Motto, Project Janus: "Humanity cannot live unless it learns to ride the wings of eternity".
