Editing Frigate

A small, lightweight ship deployed in large numbers to defend the rest of the fleet and deploy drones, mines, and flak. Used by both [[Human]] and [[Cephalopod]] [[fleets]].

==Human==

Typically crewed by a captain, an engineer, a weapons officer, a medical specialist, a pilot, and the ship [[AI]] themselves. Very limited space, but equipped with its own FTL core. Often put in the front of fleet formations as a screening line. In the [[Battle of Orpheus]], hundreds of thousands were deployed, and thousands were lost.

These ships have a notable variant, the [[Stealth Frigate]], which is used by [[MagOps]] teams.

==Cephalopod==

Holds similar duties compared to its [[Human]] counterparts, with the addition of operating as a light anti-personnel platform. Like all [[Cephalopod]] ships, they benefit from their advanced force field technology.
