Long straight black hair, light blue eyes.

When she transforms Helena wears a black waistcoat-like sleeveless dress (with a blue neck-tie) which goes down to her knees over a white dress shirt and black tights. Over the dress she wears an open midnight blue trenchcoat with coattails. Her long hair is tied at the end by a blue ribbon so it doesn't get in the way.

==Personality==
Before her wish, Helena was your typical brilliant but lazy girl who did well in school without much effort and used her vast amounts of free time to nag out with her less studious friends. She was also very much an idealist, doing her best to help people who had problems with homework (or with their love life, their cell phones, or the last level of a videogame). It's no surprise that she didn't react well to her parent's revelation about their life and her new life as a magical girl. Now she's much more reserved, a bit less patient, and much more cyinical. She also has less friends because she spends a considerable part of her "free time" hunting demons. Despite everything, she still clings to her ideals, because "it's not Utopia that's important, but the journey to get there". She also still loves her parents, and despite feeling betrayed by them, and despising both them for what they have done, and herself for keeping their past activities secret, she's still determined to defend them, because they're everything she has.
With her idealistic outlook on life, it would be only natural if Helena took the role of a Vigilante, but in reality, her actions in that sense are very limited, indirect, and restricted to critical cases. There are three main reasons for this: first, she doesn't want to attract attention to herself or (especially) her family; second, she really doesn't like to harm people, and third, considering her family background and her own actions, she doesn't consider herself "worthy" of the task.

It would be tempting to write Ciara off as the kind that dislikes other people. She certainly fits most of the patterns - she sits in the back of the class, and never raises her hand. She spends her lunches sitting on her own with a sketchbook or talking with her sister, rather than socializing with the school at large. She doesn't seem to have any friends, and never seems interested in small talk.

But then the little things make matters confusing. The way she doesn't make anyone's life harder if she doesn't have to. The way she's almost always willing to help her classmates out, provided it's during school hours. The compassion, protectiveness, and comfort she shows around her sister. The rare flicker of loneliness across her face, when she thinks no one is watching.

The truth of the matter is, Ciara doesn't dislike other people. She had friends, once - not a large number of them, for she was never a social butterfly, but some nonetheless. As she grew more focused on helping her family, however, she made less and less time for them; it wasn't long before they only saw or spoke to her at school... and when they went their separate ways after middle school, neither they nor Ciara put in the effort needed to keep a friendship going. And so, upon entering high school, Ciara had no friends, and the few that made advances were quickly rebuffed by her uncaring exterior. She had friends, and acquaintances, once, but somewhere along the way, she forgot how to make more. The closest she has these days are her acquaintances and occasional partners in crime.

She doesn't need them, after all. She has her family, and time for little more than taking care of them. All friends would do is take up her time; all she would be is another thing for them to take care of, and they would be something else she needs to take care of.

Most of the time, when she tells herself that, she even believes it.

Nonetheless, her lack of friends doesn't mean she dislikes people. Indeed, she understands that everyone has their hardships and struggles; she of all people does not want to add to them. So, when she can, she gives people a hand, and refrains from doing things that will hurt them. After all, it's not like she spends her time in school doing anything that matters to her (except her art - it took only a few icy glares to stop people from interrupting her during art class). Her family comes first, of course. And if she needs to make someone else's life harder to help them... well, it's a hard world, but that's just the way it is. She might wish it weren't that way, might dream of a better place, but she has to live in this one.

==Appearance==
Very slight, she still maintains the appearance of someone who's been wheelchair-bound for two years. This is part of her 'crippled girl' charade, and she's made a point of generating what physical enhancements she can without giving her current state of activity away. Her hair is a pleasant aquamarine shade, matching her magical theme color, and she keeps it in a long and simple style.

A wheelchair isn't conducive to wearing skirts, so she's given up that element of her wardrobe in favor of shorts for her day-to-day life. That change carried over to her costume, which is most certainly neither a skirt nor a dress; rather, It's a two-piece gray-blue outfit with a white belt-like element and aquamarine fishnet designs forming a diamond-like pattern along the torso, snug to her form. The neckline plunges noticeably (but not dangerously) and the sleeves flare outward and end halfway down her lower arm. The netting on the arms falls away from the costume as it moves away from the torso, hanging loosely at the end. The shorts stay tight until mid-thigh, whereupon it's fishnets only down to the white boots.

==Personality==
Taciturn and aloof. She doesn't have many friends nor does she try to make them (although her personality and status as the cute girl in the wheelchair have won her some admirers nonetheless). She takes her commitments seriously and doesn't quit at something she's started. She hates cute and fluffy things, including stuffed animals and frilly dresses. The one exception is her housecat, Weberweise. She can be found listening to opera more often than not, and was quite familiar with the story of Faust prior to her contract. Sylvie is also something of a hedonist, although that side of her personality rarely emerges. She views things (and people) around her in terms of function and benefit, without paying much heed to the idea of intrinsic value. It's incorrect to say that she's amoral, but she does look at things from a different perspective than most people.

==Appearance==
Rhys has lightly-curly strawberry-blonde hair that falls to her shoulder blades when loose, and bright blue eyes.

When transformed, Rhys wears a sleeveless, embossed leather-esque dress the color of brass. It's not easy to make out what the designs are (they are not colored), but on her back (which is also usually covered--see below), there is a minimalist representation of eagle wings. The skirt portion of the dress reaches nearly to her knees, and has the aesthetic of overlapping strips, but is actually all connected. The hem of the skirt is weighted with (actual) brass rivets. On her feet, she wears caligae. Over her shoulders, she wears a sort of asymmetric half-cape shawl that (when standing at neutral) covers more of her left arm than her right. It is gathered and connected to her dress at the upper-right of her chest; the brooch contains her soul gem. Her hair is kept out of her face with a hairband, but is otherwise loose.

==Personality==
Meeting Rhys is probably a decently pleasant experience. She's personable and charming, and has one of those countenances that makes people want to tell her all their dark, dirty secrets. However, while she commonly demonstrates her willingness to be friendly, if anyone tried to engage her on more than a surface level--if anyone started to actually tell her all those dark, dirty secrets--they would discover that she will shy away from being friends. Chatting with another Magical Girl should they happen to cross paths? Sure! Inviting even her favorite fellow Magical Girl to hang out in the afternoon? Not happening--though there is certainly a part of her that wants, desperately, to do just that.

Then there's her protectiveness to consider. Any perceived threat to her territory will be met with an uptick in defensiveness, and her priorities become clear: She cares more about maintaining her territory than she does about maintaining friendliness. Because of this, and because as a newbie Magical Girl she was very jumpy about threats, her relations are worst with those girls whose territories immediately border her own. "Worst" in this case means "somewhat cool professionalism," but that's still a far cry from the more casual, friendly professionalism that Rhys maintains with the Magical Girls who patrol the area around her home.

Meeting Rhys is probably a decently pleasant experience. She's personable and charming, and has one of those countenances that makes people want to tell her all their dark, dirty secrets. However, while she commonly demonstrates her willingness to be friendly, if anyone tried to engage her on more than a surface level--if anyone started to actually tell her all those dark, dirty secrets--they would discover that she will shy away from being friends. Chatting with another Magical Girl should they happen to cross paths? Sure! Inviting even her favorite fellow Magical Girl to hang out in the afternoon? Not happening--though there is certainly a part of her that wants, desperately, to do just that.

Then there's her protectiveness to consider. Any perceived threat to her territory will be met with an uptick in defensiveness, and her priorities become clear: She cares more about maintaining her territory than she does about maintaining friendliness. Because of this, and because as a newbie Magical Girl she was very jumpy about threats, her relations are worst with those girls whose territories immediately border her own. "Worst" in this case means "somewhat cool professionalism," but that's still a far cry from the more casual, friendly professionalism that Rhys maintains with the Magical Girls who patrol the area around her home.

Very slight, she still maintains the appearance of someone who's been wheelchair-bound for two years. This is part of her 'crippled girl' charade, and she's made a point of generating what physical enhancements she can without giving her current state of activity away. Her hair is a pleasant aquamarine shade, matching her magical theme color, and she keeps it in a long and simple style.

A wheelchair isn't conducive to wearing skirts, so she's given up that element of her wardrobe in favor of shorts for her day-to-day life. That change carried over to her costume, which is most certainly neither a skirt nor a dress; rather, It's a two-piece gray-blue outfit with a white belt-like element and aquamarine fishnet designs forming a diamond-like pattern along the torso, snug to her form. The neckline plunges noticeably (but not dangerously) and the sleeves flare outward and end halfway down her lower arm. The netting on the arms falls away from the costume as it moves away from the torso, hanging loosely at the end. The shorts stay tight until mid-thigh, whereupon it's fishnets only down to the white boots.

==Personality==
Taciturn and aloof. She doesn't have many friends nor does she try to make them (although her personality and status as the cute girl in the wheelchair have won her some admirers nonetheless). She takes her commitments seriously and doesn't quit at something she's started. She hates cute and fluffy things, including stuffed animals and frilly dresses. The one exception is her housecat, Weberweise. She can be found listening to opera more often than not, and was quite familiar with the story of Faust prior to her contract. Sylvie is also something of a hedonist, although that side of her personality rarely emerges. She views things (and people) around her in terms of function and benefit, without paying much heed to the idea of intrinsic value. It's incorrect to say that she's amoral, but she does look at things from a different perspective than most people.

She doesn't seem to have any friends, and never seems interested in small talk.

But then the little things make matters confusing. The way she doesn't make anyone's life harder if she doesn't have to. The way she's almost always willing to help her classmates out, provided it's during school hours. The compassion, protectiveness, and comfort she shows around her sister. The rare flicker of loneliness across her face, when she thinks no one is watching.

The truth of the matter is, Ciara doesn't dislike other people. She had friends, once - not a large number of them, for she was never a social butterfly, but some nonetheless. As she grew more focused on helping her family, however, she made less and less time for them; it wasn't long before they only saw or spoke to her at school... and when they went their separate ways after middle school, neither they nor Ciara put in the effort needed to keep a friendship going. And so, upon entering high school, Ciara had no friends, and the few that made advances were quickly rebuffed by her uncaring exterior. She had friends, and acquaintances, once, but somewhere along the way, she forgot how to make more. The closest she has these days are her acquaintances and occasional partners in crime.
